It's all about the deals!

Sometimes a deal is not really a deal when you begin to compare your options. Because not all deals are made equal, it can be sometimes difficult to really understand what the merchant is really offering.

This Dynamic Cost Analysis tool is here to help you. Below you will find the big table with deals and the actual discount %.

It's important to understand that when you get a deal with bonus points, that's something that will rise your discount %. A deal that requires you to spend some of your accumulated points will reduce your discount %.

How to use the table

If this How To doesn't make any sense, do let me know.

  • Enter the price of a single or multiple items (total combined) in the MSRP box. The price needs to be before tax. Do not enter any symbol other than the dot .).
  • Enter the tax amount of your province (example: for Ontario enter 13, for Québec enter 14.975). Do not enter any symbol other than the dot ..
  • Does your item has any add-in value (like a bundle, ebates or credit card)? For example you buy a Nintento Switch bundle valued at $459.99 on sale at $379.99 ($80 off):
    • enter 379.99 in the MSRP field and 80 in this field.
    • you have a credit card with 1% cash back, enter 379.99 in the MSRP field, manually do the math (379.99 x 1% = $3.80 + $80) and enter 83.80 in this field.
    • you have a credit card with 1% cash back and ebates at 2%, enter 379.99 in the MSRP field and enter 91.40 in this field ($3.80 + $7.60 + $80).
Caution: this field is only valid if you can combine with any of the promotions in the table. Incorect data may be shown otherwise.
  • Click the Make some math button to populate the table.
  • Click on Reset to restart.

If this is not your first visit and updates have been made since the last time you came, you may need to do an hard refresh (CTRL+F5).
